(CINCINNATI, December 11, 2012) Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback,  Andy Dalton and his wife Jordan hosted their first annual Holiday Hearts program last evening and passed out $100 Walmart gift cards to 75 critically and chronically ill children and their families which were donated by the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation.

The Daltons invited families from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Cincinnati Shiners and Redwood to the Walmart Supercenter in Alexandria, KY to make their holiday season a little brighter and greeted the children with autographed photos and footballs and the opportunity to meet Santa Claus.

“We are thrilled to be able to launch this program with the help of Walmart,” Andy said. “Being able to provide these children and their families the opportunity to receive items they need is truly what this season is about for us.”

Thanks to the presenting sponsor, Walmart, the Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation was able to provide children with things that they need for the upcoming winter months such as warm clothes and gifts.

“We recognize how difficult it can be for a family when a loved one is hospitalized, especially during the holiday season,” said David Gose, Walmart Regional General Manager for Southern Ohio. “Walmart appreciates the opportunity to team up with the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation and bring additional support to these families and their children.”
